Studded t-posts are used for agricultural fences, such as woven wire fence and are painted in green or galvanized steel for rust-resistance. Not only are t-posts a great choice against wildlife encounters but they are strong enough to combat high winds and falling branches from fruit trees.

Climbing plants, including grapes and peas, will need t-posts as an anchor post for trellises; and, tree growers will appreciate the strength of t-posts to hold down trees when applicable in windy areas.
