The CleanHub partnership offers Trident Enterprises the opportunity to support and invest in initiatives that promote environmental sustainability. The CleanHub organization envisions a world free of plastic pollution. To achieve this, they focusing on preventing plastic from ever entering the environment, establishing effective waste collection systems in coastal communities, and creating fair, dignified jobs. By collecting waste that otherwise wouldn't be collected, CleanHub ensures that plastic is intercepted before it can pollute our ocean.
“We understand that our products may have limitations in terms of recyclability at this time, but our commitment to the environment remains strong,” said Linda Sheehan, CEO, Trident Enterprises. “We are convinced that using plastic comes with responsibility and that’s why we’ve set out to collect 20,000 kg of plastic waste in the next six months, which is equivalent to 2 million, half-liter bottles, which is mind blowing.”
CleanHub is the first plastic credit system verified by TÜV SÜD under the ISO 14064-3 standard setting a new benchmark for transparency and rigor within the plastic credit market, ensuring certified impact. The entire process is tracked through its own Track & Trace technology.
